Job summary

Orsted Business Services Kuala Lumpur is seeking an Account Payable professional to support global AP reconciliation and business support services. You will ensure timely processing and maintain vendor account accuracy across regions, contributing to overall service quality for stakeholders.

You will work with SAP and MS Excel, handle vendor statements, payments, and credit notes, and collaborate with procurement, treasury, and finance teams while pursuing process improvements in AP.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in economics, accounting, or finance.
• Experience in a global shared services centre, AP focus.
• Strong English communication and stakeholder management.
• Analytical and problem-solving mindset.
• Proficiency in SAP and MS Excel.

Responsibilities

• Perform periodic vendor statement reconciliations, investigating unmatched invoices, payments, credit notes, and account discrepancies, and ensuring timely resolution.
• Manage direct debit transactions, validation, dispute handling, and reconciliation.
• Review aged and overdue AP items and liaise with vendors, procurement, treasury, business units, and finance teams to resolve outstanding issues.
• Validate credit notes against supporting documentation and ensuring accurate application within the accounting records.
• Serve as a point of contact for AP reconciliation inquiries while ensuring compliance with internal controls, accounting policies, and audit requirements.
• Drive continuous improvement initiatives to enhance efficiency, accuracy, and automation within AP processes.
