Orsted Hornsea Project Four Limited in Kuala Lumpur is seeking an Accounts Payable Analyst to support global AP operations within our Finance Services hub. You will ensure timely processing and accuracy of vendor payments and reconciliations.

You will collaborate with procurement, treasury, and business units, driving process improvements and maintaining vendor account accuracy while adhering to internal controls. This is a 12-month fixed-term contract with SAP and Excel experience preferred.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in economics, accounting, or finance.
• Experience in a global shared services centre, particularly AP, is preferred.
• Strong English communication and interpersonal skills for vendor and stakeholder interaction.
• Analytical and logical problem-solving abilities.
• Ability to work independently and manage multiple tasks.

Responsabilités

• Perform periodic vendor statement reconciliations and investigate mismatches.
• Monitor direct debit transactions, validate and reconcile payments.
• Review aged and overdue AP items and liaise with vendors and internal teams to resolve issues.
• Validate credit notes against documentation and post accurately in accounts.
• Serve as point of contact for AP reconciliation inquiries while adhering to internal controls.
• Drive continuous improvement to enhance AP efficiency, accuracy, and automation.

Welcome to Orsted Business Services

You’ll be part of Financial Services Kuala Lumpur where you, together with your colleagues, will support the reconciliation and other business support services on a global scale. You'll join the Account Payable team within Financial Services.

Join us in this role where you’ll be responsible of ensuring account payable management around the world are processed on time while ensuring quality of the services rendered to our stakeholders.

You will play a key role in maintaining vendor account accuracy and supporting continuous process improvements within the AP function.

You’ll play an important role in:

• performing periodic vendor statement reconciliations, investigating unmatched invoices, payments, credit notes, and account discrepancies, and ensuring timely resolution
• managing and monitoring direct debit transactions, including validation, dispute handling, and reconciliation
• reviewing aged and overdue AP items and liaising with vendors, procurement, treasury, business units, and finance teams to resolve outstanding issues
• validating credit notes against supporting documentation and ensuring accurate application within the accounting records
• serving as a point of contact for AP reconciliation inquiries while ensuring compliance with internal controls, accounting policies, and audit requirements
• driving continuous improvement initiatives to enhance efficiency, accuracy, and automation within AP processes.

To succeed in the role, you:

• have a bachelor's degree in economics, accounting, finance, or a member of any professional bodies
• preferable to have some years of experience working in a global shared services centre, specifically within accounts payable
• have strong communication and interpersonal skills in English, with the ability to handle relevant business stakeholders and vendor interactions professionally
• have an analytical and logical approach to issues and problem-solving
• are able to work independently and manage multiple tasks simultaneously
• are proficient with accounting software (preferably SAP) and Microsoft Excel.
