Job summary

Talent Trader Group is seeking a Technical Manager (Geotechnical Expertise) to lead the geotechnical team and act as the main technical liaison for clients and stakeholders. You will guide proposals, oversee ground improvement designs, and ensure timely client approvals across projects in Asia.

The role requires a Civil Engineering degree with a strong geotechnical background, PE status is an advantage, and at least 10 years' experience. EA license numbers may be included in resumes.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering.
• Postgraduate qualification and/or Professional Engineer status in Geotechnical Engineering is an advantage.
• Proficiency in geotechnical software such as PLAXIS and Slope/W is required.
• At least 10 years of relevant experience, preferably with managerial responsibilities.
• Extensive knowledge of geotechnical engineering and ground improvement technologies.
• EA License No.: 13C6305 and Registration No.: R1874608 (LEE JIA HOU).

Responsibilities

• Serve as the main technical contact for clients, consultants, contractors, and authorities on technical and commercial matters.
• Provide engineering support during business development and sales activities, including feasibility studies and negotiations.
• Lead the technical team in preparing and reviewing proposals for ground improvement projects.
• Oversee detailed engineering design and coordinate design meetings for timely approvals.
• Manage technical engineers, including recruitment, scheduling, and performance management.
• Support operations with design submissions, reports, and as-built drawings.
• Conduct technical marketing activities through seminars, exhibitions, and client visits.
• Provide technical support to regional teams across Asia.
