Job summary

Asia Infrastructure Solutions Sdn. Bhd. is seeking a Geotechnical Engineer to join our team in Malaysia. You will analyze and design geotechnical systems, review site investigations, and provide technical support across infrastructure, industrial and building projects.

You will interpret ground reports, develop parameters for foundations and earth-retaining structures, and perform design calculations. Collaboration with multidisciplinary teams is essential to deliver safe, practical solutions.

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering with geotechnical specialization and CGPA 3.5+.
2–5 years of relevant geotechnical engineering experience in consultancy or design.
Solid knowledge of soil mechanics, foundation engineering, investigations and analysis.
Familiarity with relevant codes, standards and regulatory requirements.
Strong report writing, analytical and problem-solving skills.

Responsibilities

Perform geotechnical analyses and designs per project requirements and standards.
Interpret ground investigation reports, lab results and field monitoring data.
Develop geotechnical parameters for foundation and earth-retaining structures.
Carry out design calculations for shallow/deep foundations, raft foundations and walls.
Assess settlement, bearing capacity, lateral pressures and soil–structure interaction.
Conduct risk assessments and propose mitigation measures.
Support feasibility, FEED and detailed design, and provide construction-stage services.
Prepare geotechnical reports, specifications, calculations and drawings.
