Essential Healthcare Sdn. Bhd. is seeking a dedicated General Practitioner to join our medical team in Ara Damansara, Selangor.

This full-time role delivers high-quality primary healthcare services, diagnosing, treating, and managing patient health while fostering relationships with patients and families. You will work within a supportive clinic, collaborating with nurses and other healthcare professionals to ensure comprehensive care and patient satisfaction.

Qualifications

• Medical degree from a recognised university and MCMC registration.
• Valid practising licence and APC.
• Minimum 2 years' GP experience in a primary care setting.
• Strong clinical knowledge in general medicine and emergency care.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Proficiency in medical record-keeping systems and healthcare software.
• Commitment to evidence-based practice and CPD.
• Time management and ability to work in a busy clinic.
• Professional demeanour and patient-centred care.
• Proficiency in English and Malay; additional languages a plus.

Responsibilities

• Conduct thorough patient consultations and medical examinations to diagnose and treat acute and chronic conditions.
• Provide preventative healthcare advice and health screening services.
• Manage patient medical records accurately and maintain confidentiality.
• Prescribe medications and treatments appropriate to patient conditions and medical history.
• Refer patients to specialist services or hospital care when necessary.
• Perform routine clinical procedures such as blood pressure monitoring, immunisations and minor wound care.
• Educate patients on lifestyle modifications, disease prevention and health maintenance.
• Collaborate with nursing staff and other healthcare professionals to ensure coordinated patient care.
• Maintain up-to-date clinical knowledge and adhere to professional standards and guidelines.
• Contribute to a welcoming clinic environment and support patient satisfaction initiatives.

About the role

What we’re looking for

• Medical degree from a recognised university and registration with the Malaysian Medical Council
• Valid medical practitioner’s licence and current annual practising certificate
• Minimum of 2 years' experience working as a General Practitioner in a primary healthcare setting
• Strong clinical knowledge and competency in general medicine, emergency care and common health conditions
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to engage effectively with patients from diverse backgrounds
• Proficiency in medical record-keeping systems and relevant healthcare software
• Commitment to evidence-based medical practice and continuous professional development
• Ability to manage time effectively and work efficiently within a busy clinic environment
• Professional demeanour and dedication to patient-centred care
• Proficiency in English and Malay; additional language skills are advantageous
• Current CPR certification or willingness to obtain certification is preferred
