Essential Healthcare Sdn. Bhd. invites a dedicated General Practitioner to join our Ara Damansara clinic in Selangor. This full-time role focuses on delivering high-quality primary care, diagnosing and treating a diverse patient population, and managing health plans with a patient-centric approach.

You will work with a multidisciplinary team to provide comprehensive medical services, maintain records, and support ongoing health education and preventive care in a modern clinic setting.

Qualifications

• Medical degree from a recognised university and MMC registration.
• Valid practising certificate and annual practising certificate.
• Minimum 2 years’ GP experience in primary care.
• Proficient in medical record-keeping systems and healthcare software.
• Strong communication with diverse patient populations.

Responsibilities

• Conduct patient consultations and examinations for acute and chronic conditions.
• Provide preventive care, health screenings and lifestyle advice.
• Maintain accurate medical records and ensure confidentiality.
• Prescribe appropriate medications and treatments.
• Refer to specialists or hospitals when needed.
• Collaborate with nursing staff to ensure coordinated care.

Essential Healthcare Sdn. Bhd. is seeking a dedicated and compassionate General Practitioner to join our growing medical team in Ara Damansara, Selangor. This is a full-time position offering the opportunity to deliver high-quality primary healthcare services to our diverse patient population. As a General Practitioner, you will be at the forefront of patient care, providing comprehensive medical services, diagnosis, treatment and health management whilst building meaningful relationships with patients and their families. This role is integral to our mission of providing accessible, evidence-based healthcare to our community.

Key responsibilities

• Conduct thorough patient consultations and medical examinations to diagnose and treat acute and chronic medical conditions
• Provide preventative healthcare advice and health screening services to promote patient wellbeing
• Manage patient medical records accurately and maintain confidentiality in accordance with healthcare regulations
• Prescribe medications and medical treatments appropriate to patient conditions and medical history
• Refer patients to specialist services or hospital care when necessary
• Perform routine clinical procedures such as blood pressure monitoring, immunisations and minor wound care
• Educate patients on lifestyle modifications, disease prevention and health maintenance
• Collaborate with nursing staff and other healthcare professionals to ensure coordinated patient care
• Maintain up-to-date clinical knowledge and adhere to professional standards and guidelines
• Contribute to a welcoming clinic environment and support patient satisfaction initiatives

What we're looking for

• Medical degree from a recognised university and registration with the Malaysian Medical Council
• Valid medical practitioner's licence and current annual practising certificate
• Minimum of 2 years' experience working as a General Practitioner in a primary healthcare setting
• Strong clinical knowledge and competency in general medicine, emergency care and common health conditions
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to engage effectively with patients from diverse backgrounds
• Proficiency in medical record-keeping systems and relevant healthcare software
• Commitment to evidence-based medical practice and continuous professional development
• Ability to manage time effectively and work efficiently within a busy clinic environment
• Professional demeanour and dedication to patient-centred care
• Proficiency in English and Malay; additional language skills are advantageous
• Current CPR certification or willingness to obtain certification is preferred
