LS Medical Group in Kuala Lumpur is seeking a Medical Officer / General Practitioner to join our team in a full-time capacity. You will deliver comprehensive primary healthcare, manage acute and chronic conditions, and maintain high-quality patient care in a supportive clinical environment.

Candidates should hold a medical degree and valid licence to practise in Malaysia, with 2–3 years of relevant clinical experience.

Qualifications

• MBBS or equivalent medical degree from an accredited institution.
• Valid registration and licence to practise in Malaysia.
• 2–3 years of post-graduation clinical experience in general practice or primary care.

Responsibilities

• Provide comprehensive primary healthcare services including diagnosis, treatment and management of acute and chronic illnesses.
• Conduct patient consultations with detailed medical histories and physical examinations.
• Prescribe medications and treatments per clinical guidelines.
• Manage common conditions such as hypertension, diabetes and respiratory infections.
• Perform preventive care including health screenings and vaccinations.
• Maintain accurate medical records compliant with regulatory requirements.
• Refer to specialists when needed and ensure proper follow-up.

LS Medical Group is seeking a dedicated Medical Officer / General Practitioner (GP) to join our healthcare team in Mid Valley City, Kuala Lumpur. This is a full‑time position offering the opportunity to provide comprehensive primary healthcare services to our diverse patient population. As a key member of our medical team, you will play a vital role in delivering high‑quality patient care, managing acute and chronic conditions, and contributing to the overall health and wellbeing of our community. Key responsibilities

• Provide comprehensive primary healthcare services including diagnosis, treatment and management of acute and chronic illnesses
• Conduct thorough patient consultations, taking detailed medical histories and performing physical examinations
• Prescribe appropriate medications and treatments in accordance with clinical guidelines and best practices
• Manage common medical conditions such as hypertension, diabetes, respiratory infections and other prevalent health issues
• Perform preventive healthcare services including health screenings, vaccinations and health promotion activities
• Maintain accurate and up‑to‑date medical records for all patients in compliance with regulatory requirements
• Refer patients to specialist services when necessary and provide appropriate follow‑up care
• Collaborate effectively with nursing staff and other healthcare professionals to ensure coordinated patient care
• Contribute to the development and implementation of clinical protocols and quality improvement initiatives
• Stay current with medical knowledge through continuous professional development and participation in training programmes

What we're looking for

• Medical degree (Bachelor of Medicine or equivalent) from an accredited institution
• Valid registration and licence to practise as a Medical Officer / General Practitioner in Malaysia
• Minimum 2‑3 years of post‑graduation clinical experience in general practice or primary healthcare settings
• Strong clinical knowledge and competency in managing common medical conditions
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to build rapport with patients from diverse backgrounds
• Proficiency in English and Malay; additional language skills are advantageous
• Ability to work efficiently in a busy clinical environment and manage multiple patient consultations
• Strong attention to detail with meticulous record‑keeping and documentation practices
• Commitment to maintaining high standards of clinical care and patient safety
• Valid CPR certification or willingness to obtain it
• Preference for candidates with experience in chronic disease management, health screening programmes or community health initiatives
