Job summary

About the role

We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Doctor to join the Essential Healthcare SDN. BHD. team in Ara Damansara, Selangor. This is a full-time position offering the opportunity to provide high-quality primary healthcare services to our diverse patient population. As a Doctor, you will be at the forefront of patient care, delivering clinical expertise and building meaningful relationships with patients whilst contributing to the overall success of our general practice.

What you'll be doing

• Conducting thorough patient consultations, assessments and examinations to diagnose and treat acute and chronic medical conditions
• Developing and implementing individualised treatment plans and management strategies in consultation with patients
• Prescribing medications and monitoring patient responses to treatment and medication compliance
• Performing routine clinical procedures and investigations as appropriate to general practice
• Maintaining accurate, timely and confidential medical records for all patients
• Providing health promotion and disease prevention advice to patients
• Managing referrals to secondary care services and coordinating ongoing care pathways
• Collaborating effectively with nursing staff, administrative personnel and other healthcare professionals
• Adhering to all relevant clinical governance, quality assurance and regulatory requirements

What we're looking for

• Medical degree (Bachelor of Medicine, Bachelor of Surgery or equivalent qualification recognised in Malaysia)
• Valid medical licence and registration with the Malaysian Medical Council (MMC)
• Completion of mandatory housemanship or equivalent postgraduate training as required by local regulatory bodies
• Proven experience working in a general practice or primary care setting
• Strong clinical knowledge and competency in diagnosing and managing common medical conditions
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to build rapport with patients from diverse backgrounds
• Commitment to continuing professional development and maintaining clinical knowledge
• Proficiency in using medical software and electronic health record systems
• Ability to work independently and as part of a multidisciplinary team
• Strong sense of professionalism, ethics and confidentiality in patient care
