Job summary

ET Education Sdn Bhd is seeking a seasoned General Manager to lead Sales, Marketing, Operations, Administration and Teaching teams in Kuala Lumpur. The role emphasizes driving revenue, hitting targets and optimizing daily operations through data-driven decisions.

You will identify bottlenecks, implement solutions, and report risks early while improving systems and documenting best practices. Fluent Chinese and English are required, with experience in the education sector advantageous.

Qualifications

• Minimum three years of team leadership experience with proven responsibility for revenue, sales targets or measurable business results.
• Strong commercial judgement, problem-solving ability and hands-on experience in B2C Sales, Marketing or Operations.
• Proactive, humble, honest and able to communicate disagreements directly without creating politics.
• Fluent in Chinese and English; education or training industry experience is an advantage.
• Previous General Manager experience is not required.

Job description

Own ET Education’s overall revenue, profit, team performance and daily operations.

Lead Sales, Marketing, Operations, Administration and Teaching teams to achieve company targets.

Use data to identify business bottlenecks, execute solutions and report risks or performance gaps early.

Improve existing systems, document successful methods and build backups for critical roles.

Operate independently within the approved budget and decision rights, without relying on the Founder to solve daily problems.

Requirements

Minimum three years of team leadership experience, with proven responsibility for revenue, sales targets or measurable business results.

Strong commercial judgement, problem-solving ability and hands-on experience in B2C Sales, Marketing or Operations.

Proactive, humble, honest and able to communicate disagreements directly without creating politics.

Comfortable using Google Sheets, Excel, dashboards and basic AI tools.

Fluent in Chinese and English; education or training industry experience is an advantage.

Previous General Manager experience is not required.

Compensation Package: RM5,800 basic salary + performance incentives + performance bonus. Total earnings are linked to business performance and results, with opportunities to earn more based on your contribution.
