Job summary

RUNJIAN (M) SDN. BHD. is a diversified international company expanding in Malaysia, seeking a General Manager to drive growth in AI, technology and renewable energy.

You will report to the group management team and build from scratch, expanding from one to many in the Malaysian subsidiary. Responsibilities include developing new markets, managing P&L, leading a local team, and aligning with HQ on technology, product, HR and finance to execute the global strategy.

Qualifications

• Language skills: fluent in Chinese and English for business communication, negotiation, reporting.
• Bachelor's degree or above in business, CS, or related fields.
• IT/Tech/AI background preferred and familiarity with AI+ applications.
• Entrepreneurial mindset, resilient under pressure, results-oriented leadership.

Responsibilities

JobOverview

CoreResponsibilities

1.BusinessDevelopmentandGrowth:Leadthedevelopmentofnewmarkets,newcustomers,andnewbusinesses.Establishandmaintainstrategicrelationshipswithkeycustomers,partners,andlocalgovernmentagenciestocreatesustainablebusinessgrowthopportunities.

2.OverallProfitandLossManagement:ResponsiblefortheoverallprofitandlossoftheMalaysianbusiness,strictlycontrollingcosts,optimizingresourceallocation,andachievingsignificantrevenuegrowth(e.g.,doublingrevenuewithinasetperiod).

3.TeamBuildingandLeadership:Buildandleadthelocalbusinessteam,cultivateahigh-performanceculture,andmotivatetheteamtoachieveoutstandingperformancegoals.

4.Cross-DepartmentalCollaboration: AsthecoreinterfacefortheMalaysianbusiness,workcloselywiththegroupheadquarters'technology,product,humanresources,andfinancedepartmentstoensurethatthelocalbusinessalignswiththecompany'sglobalstrategy.

JobRequirements
