Job summary

Cigna Health and Life Insurance Company in Kuala Lumpur is seeking a meticulous Operator to join our Provider Intake Department. You will organize and process incoming and outgoing documents in a back office environment, ensuring accuracy and confidentiality throughout the workflow.

The role focuses on handling intake documents, vetting initial claims, and coordinating data transfer across platforms while adhering to data governance practices in a collaborative team setting.

Qualifications

• Diploma or Degree from a recognized institution.
• Fluent in English (verbal and written).
• Ability to work with minimal supervision and take ownership.

Responsibilities

• Manage intake documents and organize flow of paper and electronic records.
• Sort, process and vet claims for payment as a first review.
• electronically transfer received claims to the relevant platforms.
• Triaging workflow between members and provider claims.
• Data entry and verification using office software; operate onsite equipment as needed.
• Produce formatted documents and support data governance tasks.

The Position:

A vacancy has arisen within Provider Intake Department opening up the opportunity for an enthusiastic, highly motivated and driven individual to join our Operations Team. You will be responsible for organizing and processing the flow of incoming and outgoing documents (paper & electronic) in a back office environment.

Main Duties/Responsibilities:

• Management of Intake documents
• Sorting, processing and vetting of claims first hand for claims payment
• Electronic transfer of received claims to the various platforms
• Triaging the flow between members and provider claims
• Operates data entry devices to perform a variety of data entry and verification duties
• Use of basic office equipment (including a photocopy machine, facsimile machine) when onsite
• Formats and produce documents
• Peer to Peer Validation Checks
• Triaging the flow of Provider claims- Data Governance
• Works with numbers (i.e., add, subtract, multiply and divide)
• Uses word processing, spreadsheet, database or other software on a computer
• Any other tasks assigned.
