Job summary

3cat is hiring a Store Manager in Malaysia to drive day-to-day store performance. You will own store operations, lead a team, manage stock, and ensure excellent customer experiences while aligning with HQ priorities.

Responsibilities include achieving sales KPIs, coaching staff, and overseeing inventory, SOPs, and reporting. Experience in retail leadership and a Diploma/Degree in Business or Retail Management are preferred.

Job description

As a Store Manager, you'll be responsible for the day-to-day performance of your store.

You'll own the store operations.

That means driving sales, leading and developing your team, managing stock and store operations, and making sure every customer has a great experience with 3cat.

You'll also be the key link between your store and the wider 3cat team, making sure priorities from HQ are executed well on the ground and that store issues are raised and resolved quickly.

You'll take ownership of:

• Store Performance: Drive store sales and KPIs, understand what's working and take action when performance needs to improve.
• Sales & Customer Experience: Lead the team to deliver strong sales results while making sure customers receive helpful, professional and consistent service.
• Team Leadership: Lead, coach and motivate your team, including onboarding, on-the-job training, regular feedback and performance management.
• Store Operations: Oversee daily opening and closing, staff scheduling, cash handling, security and overall store readiness.
• Inventory & Stock: Manage stock levels, inventory counts, stock transfers, product handling and loss prevention.
• Store Standards: Make sure the store is clean, organised and properly merchandised, with products displayed, labelled and priced correctly.
• SOP & Compliance: Make sure the team follows company SOPs, policies and operational requirements consistently.
• Reporting & Coordination: Keep the Area Manager and HQ updated on store performance, staffing, stock issues, customer concerns and anything else that requires support.

Who We're Looking For

We're looking for someone who enjoys leading from the front.

You should be comfortable managing a team, working towards sales targets and getting involved in the day-to-day operation of the store.

We're looking for someone who:

• Has experience in retail, ideally with previous experience leading a team or managing a store.
• Is sales-driven and comfortable working towards store targets and KPIs.
• Can lead, coach and hold a team accountable for performance.
• Understands the basics of store operations, inventory management and customer service.
• Communicates well and is comfortable working with both frontline teams and HQ.
• Can solve problems and make decisions when things don't go according to plan.
• Is organised, responsible and able to manage the store with minimal supervision.
• Is comfortable using POS systems and basic reporting tools.
• Can work retail hours, including weekends and public holidays.

Experience in electronics, telecommunications, gadgets or consumer retail would be an advantage.

A Diploma or Degree in Business, Retail Management or a related field is preferred, but practical retail and leadership experience matters most.
