Job summary

Hong Leong Bank in Malaysia seeks a senior leader to drive regional P&L and growth for FX and DCI across Malaysia and Singapore. You will shape FX strategy, accelerate DCI penetration, and collaborate with Global Markets, Treasury and Product to deliver a robust, market-leading portfolio.

You will lead cross-functional teams, design campaigns for Retail, Priority and Private Banking, and ensure regulatory compliance across Malaysia and Singapore while scaling revenue streams.

Qualifications

• 10–15 years of progressive experience within the financial services sector, with focus on Wealth Management, Global Markets, or Treasury operations.
• Deep knowledge of Foreign Exchange (FX), Dual Currency Investments (DCI), structured products, and derivative pricing; strong market risk understanding.
• Proven leadership with P&L ownership and a track record in scaling product portfolios across wealth segments.
• Strategic vision with ability to translate market trends into actionable sales and marketing strategies.
• Exceptional stakeholder management, with collaboration across Global Markets, Treasury, and segment heads.
• Comprehensive regulatory understanding of Malaysia and Singapore frameworks.

Responsibilities

• Drive regional P&L and revenue growth for FX and DCI across Malaysia and Singapore.
• Establish FX as a key revenue driver and expand the DCI book.
• Lead cross-functional campaigns and product structuring in collaboration with Global Markets.
• Partner with Segment Heads, Relationship Management, and Digital Banking to embed FX/DCI in client advisory and digital touchpoints.
• Ensure competitive pricing, robust product pipeline, and flawless trade execution with Treasury and Product teams.
