Job summary

KLA Corporation in Kulim, Malaysia, is seeking a Customer-focused Software Application Engineer to strengthen Frontline software support. You will deliver installation, configuration, troubleshooting, and issue resolution, while ensuring customer satisfaction and operational excellence.

You will collaborate with Sales, PM, Marketing and R&D to enable onboarding, product demonstrations, and continuous improvements.

Qualifications

• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills with a customer-first mindset.
• Bachelor's or Master’s level degree with PCB-related work experience (2–5 years).
• Proven experience in technical support, software troubleshooting, or a related field.

Responsibilities

• Provide first-line technical support for Frontline software, including installation, configuration, version upgrades, troubleshooting, maintenance, and issue resolution.
• Serve as the primary technical contact for customers, ensuring timely responses, effective problem resolution, and high customer satisfaction.
• Document, track, and escalate complex technical issues and product enhancement requests to R&D and relevant stakeholders when required.
• Collaborate with Sales, Product Management, Marketing, and R&D teams to support customer onboarding, business growth, product demonstrations, and continuous product improvements.
• Maintain accurate records of customer interactions, service activities, technical issues, and resolutions in the support management system.
• Deliver technical presentations, customer training, and knowledge-sharing sessions to customers and internal teams.
• Support assigned projects independently and provide feedback on customer needs, market trends, and relevant activities to management.
• Comply with company processes, service standards, and operational procedures while performing all support activities.
• Willing to be based in Malaysia and frequently travel to other Southeast Asian countries to provide on-site technical support and customer service for regional customers as required by business needs.
