The position requires a Diploma/Degree in hospitality-related fields, 1-3 years in a hotel, and proficiency with Microsoft Office.

Responsibilities

• Check in and check out guests, handle reservations, respond to inquiries, and assist with special requests or VIP arrivals, ensuring a welcoming and professional experience throughout the night shift.
• Reconcile daily financial transactions, balance cash drawers, process invoices, verify room charges, and prepare end-of-day reports for management.
• Maintain room status updates in coordination with housekeeping, monitor hotel systems, run daily flash and morning reports, and ensure all point-of-sale and property management systems are accurate and operational.
• Serve as a liaison between departments, report discrepancies, and provide updates to management on overnight activities

Job description

The Night Auditor is responsible for reconciling daily transactions, completing end of day audit procedures and preparing accurate reports for management review. This position ensures that revenue postings, billing adjustments and cash handling are accurate and complete before the start of the new business day. The role also provides overnight front desk coverage, responds to guest enquiries and incidents, and acts as the primary on-site contact for safety and security matters during the night shift. The Night Auditor works with limited supervision and must ensure continuity and accuracy of records for handover to day staff.
