Job summary

Teedo Hotel Kuala Lumpur is seeking a hands-on Duty Manager to lead front office operations, guest relations, and daily hotel workflow during shifts. You will act as Manager on Duty, ensuring smooth check-ins/check-outs and seamless guest experiences.

Responsibilities include supervising front office tasks, coordinating with Housekeeping and Maintenance, and managing cash handling with adherence to hotel policy. Flexibility for weekends/evenings/public holidays is required.

Qualifications

• Minimum 2 years in hotel front office operations, with at least 1 year in a supervisory or lead role.
• Hands-on experience with hotel PMS.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Calm under pressure with a hospitality-first mindset.
• Ability to work flexible shifts, including weekends, evenings, and public holidays.

Responsibilities

• Shift supervision of front office operations during the shift.
• Greet VIP guests, monitor lobby activity, and resolve escalated guest requests.
• Coordinate with Housekeeping and Maintenance on room readiness and defects.
• Oversee cash handling, daily shift reconciliations, and billing accuracy; approve routine overrides if policy allows.
• Conduct shift briefings and coach front desk agents on PMS usage.
• Enforce security policies and document incidents in the shift log.
