Job summary

WIT Venture Sdn Bhd is seeking a Duty Manager to oversee daily hotel operations on shift, ensuring service quality and compliance in the absence of senior management.

You will supervise front desk, housekeeping, security and maintenance, handle escalations, manage room allocation and occupancy, and prepare shift reports. The role requires leadership, quick decision-making, and a customer-focused approach.

Qualifications

• Diploma or Degree in Hospitality Management, Tourism, Business Administration, or related fields.
• Minimum 2–4 years of experience in hotel operations, serviced apartments, or building management.
• Supervisory or duty manager experience is an advantage.
• Strong problem-solving and decision-making skills.

Responsibilities

• Oversee daily hotel/building operations during assigned shifts.
• Act as on-duty management representative to handle issues, emergencies, and guest concerns.
• Ensure proper room allocation, occupancy control, and block room management.
• Monitor front desk, housekeeping, maintenance, and security operations for efficiency and standards.
• Handle cash handling, deposits, refunds, and basic financial transactions during shifts.
• Prepare incident and shift reports for management.
