• Diploma or degree in Logistics, Supply Chain Management, Freight Forwarding or related field.
• Experience in freight forwarding or logistics operations.
• Knowledge of import/export procedures, customs clearance, and international freight practices.
• Familiarity with Malaysian customs and IATA regulations.
• Strong coordination, communication and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to manage multiple shipments in a fast-paced environment.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office and logistics systems.
• CBTA certificate would be an added advantage

• Monitor schedules, space availability and documentation deadlines.
• Review shipping documents such as BL, AWB, shipping instructions and declarations.
• Act as the primary contact for customers, handling inquiries and escalations.
• Monitor KPI/SLA compliance and service quality.
• Provide guidance and support to junior team members.
• Identify risks and implement process improvements.
• Coordinate with internal departments and overseas offices for end-to-end service.

Freight Forwarding Operations Executive / Senior Executive

The successful candidate will be responsible for managing and coordinating daily sea and air freight import and export operations, ensuring shipments are executed accurately, efficiently, and in accordance with customer requirements, company procedures, and applicable regulatory standards. The role requires close coordination with shipping lines, airlines, overseas agents, customs authorities, transport providers, customers, and internal departments to ensure seamless end-to-end shipment execution and high standards of operational service.

Key Responsibilities

Manage daily sea and air freight import/export operations, ensuring timely and accurate shipment execution.

Oversee freight forwarding activities, including carrier/airline bookings, customs clearance, transportation and shipment coordination.

Liaise with shipping lines, airlines, overseas agents, customs authorities and other service providers.

Ensure compliance with Malaysian Customs regulations, IATA requirements and relevant international shipping procedures.

Monitor shipment schedules, space availability, documentation deadlines and operational exceptions.

Review shipping documentation, including BL, AWB, shipping instructions, customs declarations and other relevant documents.

Act as the key contact for customers, managing enquiries, operational issues and escalations.

Monitor operational performance, KPI/SLA compliance and service quality.

Provide guidance, coaching and technical support to junior team members.

Identify operational risks, resolve shipment issues and implement process improvements.

Coordinate with internal departments and overseas offices to ensure seamless end-to-end service delivery.

About you

Diploma or Degree in Logistics, Supply Chain Management, Freight Forwarding, Business Administration, or a related discipline.

Relevant experience in freight forwarding, logistics, shipping, or air/sea cargo operations.

Strong knowledge of import and export procedures, customs clearance/declaration, and international air and sea freighting practices.

Working knowledge of Malaysian Customs requirements and IATA regulations.

Good understanding of shipping and freight documentation, including BL, AWB, shipping instructions, and customs declarations.

Strong coordination, communication, problem-solving, and customer service skills.

Ability to manage multiple shipments and priorities in a fast-paced operational environment.

Good attention to detail with a strong focus on accuracy, compliance, and service quality.

Proficiency in Microsoft Office and relevant freight forwarding or logistics systems.

Ability to work independently while collaborating effectively with internal and external stakeholders.

Competency-Based Training and Assessment (CBTA) certificate will be an added advantage
