Job summary

Thecorridors is seeking an Air Freight Operations Executive to oversee end-to-end air freight movements from origin to destination, ensuring on-time delivery and regulatory compliance.

Ideal candidate has 3–5 years experience in international freight forwarding, strong communication and negotiation skills, and proficiency in freight forwarding software and MS Office; attention to detail and ability to manage priorities in a fast-paced environment.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in logistics, supply chain management, or a related field.
• 3-5 years of experience in air freight operations within international freight forwarding.
• Knowledge of air cargo procedures, regulations, and documentation requirements.
• Excellent communication, negotiation, and problem-solving skills.
• Proficiency in freight forwarding software and Microsoft Office suite.
• Ability to work under pressure in a fast-paced environment.
• Detail-oriented with a commitment to accuracy and quality.
• Knowledge of customs regulations and international trade compliance preferred.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate and manage air freight shipments from booking to delivery, ensuring compliance with regulations and customer requirements.

• Coordinate with procurement and capacity management to secure capacity and optimize costs.
• Monitor shipment status and address issues or delays to minimize disruptions.
• Prepare and maintain airway bills, customs paperwork, and shipping manifests.
• Provide exceptional customer service by addressing inquiries and maintaining client relationships.
• Collaborate with sales, operations, and warehousing to ensure aligned and seamless execution.
• Stay informed about industry trends, regulations, and best practices to improve processes and efficiency.

The Air Freight Operations Executive will be responsible for overseeing and managing all aspects of air freight operations, ensuring the efficient movement of cargo from origin to destination. This role requires strong leadership skills, attention to detail, and a deep understanding of international freight forwarding processes.

Key Responsibilities

• Coordinate and manage air freight shipments from booking to delivery, ensuring compliance with all regulations and customer requirements.
• Communicate effectively with customers, airlines, vendors, and other stakeholders to ensure smooth operations and timely delivery of cargo.
• Coordinate with the procurement and capacity management team to efficiently secure capacity and to optimize costs and maximize profitability.
• Monitor shipment status and proactively address any issues or delays to minimize disruptions.
• Prepare and maintain accurate documentation, including airway bills, customs paperwork, and shipping manifests.
• Provide exceptional customer service by addressing inquiries, resolving complaints, and maintaining strong relationships with clients.
• Collaborate with internal teams, including sales, operations, and warehousing, to ensure alignment and seamless execution of operations.
• Stay informed about industry trends, regulations, and best practices to continually improve processes and enhance efficiency.

Experience & Qualifications
