Job summary

UPS in Kulai, Malaysia, is seeking an experienced Logistics Operations professional to support inbound and outbound shipments, assist the Team Lead, and manage daily tasks across departments. You will prepare shipping documents, coordinate with suppliers and customers, and contribute to meeting organizational goals while providing excellent service.

A Diploma in Logistics/Transportation with 3–5 years in ocean freight is required, along with strong English and local language skills and MS Office

Responsibilities

• Assist the Team Lead in operations for inbound and outbound shipments.
• Prepare shipping documents for supplier management and international shipments.
• Plan, organize and communicate to carry out daily tasks.
• Enhance customer/vendor relationships and meet goals.
• Perform daily admin tasks and liaise with other departments.
• Report irregularities to Team Lead as needed.
• Carry out any other duties as directed by Team Lead.

Job Description

Responsibilities

• To assist the Team Lead in carrying out operations for Inbound and outbound shipments
• Shipping document preparation for Supplier Management and shipping requirements to US and other part of the world.
• To plan, organize and communicate to carry out daily tasks.
• Enhance Customer/Vendor relationships and meet organizational goals.
• To carry out daily administrative work and liaise with others department
• To report any irregularities to Team Lead from time to time.
• To perform any other duties as directed by Team Lead from time to time.

Requirements

• Minimum Diploma, Advanced/Higher/Graduate Logistic/Transportation or equivalent.
• At least 3 - 5 years of experience in Ocean freight operations
• Excellent customer service experience and interpersonal skill care required
• Good command of written and spoken in English & local language and possesses a pleasant and courteous personality.
• Computer literacy in Microsoft Excel, Word, Power Point.
• Good problem-solving skills and ability to multi-tasks
• Must be a self-starter, able to work independently and highly motivated.
