Job summary

UPS Malaysia is seeking a delivery driver to efficiently deliver and collect packages from residential and commercial properties. The role requires safe driving, physical activity, and a commitment to excellent customer service.

You will be responsible for pre- and post-trip vehicle checks, scanning packages, and updating delivery status. A minimum SPM and a valid D/E/GDL license are essential, with the ability to lift up to 32 kg.

Qualifications

Responsibilities

• Delivers and picks up packages to/from residential and commercial properties.
• Learns and executes UPS safe driving methods.
• Scan inbound packages and perform pre-trip vehicle checks.
• Close POD and update exceptions as needed.
• Post trip reporting and communicate discrepancies to management.

Job Summary

This position delivers and picks up packages to and from residential and/or commercial properties. This position performs in a physical, fast-paced environment involving driving, continual lifting, lowering, and carrying packages. This position practices safe transportation methods while traveling to and from destinations. This position ensures the best customer service through efficiency and dedication.

Responsibilities:

• Delivers and picks up packages to and from residential and/or commercial properties.
• Learns and properly executes UPS safe driving methods.
• Scan inbound packages.
• Pre trip on the vehicle.
• Ensure supplies, manual waybill, invoice pouches are adequate.
• Close POD for the delivered package.
• Update exception for the send again packages and return to warehouse same day.
• COD money Collect from the customer and handover customer copy of slip.
• Perform ISAT on the packages upon pick up.
• Post trip conducted and inform Management for any discrepancy.

For External Candidates

• Minimum SPM
• Ability to lift up to 70 lbs./32 kgs.
• Complies with UPS appearance guidelines
• Excellent customer contact and driving skills
• Meets local age and operations requirements to operate a vehicle
• Have Valid D/E and GDL Driving License
• Experience in Logistic industry will be an added advantage
• Able to Read and Write in Basic English
