Job summary

Onto Innovation in Malaysia is seeking a Contractor - Inventory Analyst 2 to coordinate freight movements, manage 3PL relationships, and ensure accurate shipping documentation. This role involves end-to-end shipment execution, export paperwork, and cross-functional collaboration with planning, procurement, manufacturing, and customer service.

The position requires 3+ years in freight coordination or logistics, with ERP experience (SAP/Oracle).

Qualifications

• 3+ years of experience in freight coordination, shipping, 3PL management or logistics operations.
• Knowledge of domestic and international shipping, Incoterms, and basic customs processes.
• Experience with ERP systems such as SAP, Oracle, or similar logistics platforms.
• Strong attention to detail, communication skills, and problem-solving ability.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate end-to-end freight movements across air, ocean, truckload, LTL, parcel, and intermodal shipments.
• File International Export information through ACE or other applicable customs entity.
• Prepare and validate shipping documents including invoices, packing lists, and export paperwork.
• Communicate shipment schedules and updates to internal stakeholders.
• Serve as the day-to-day contact for freight forwarders, carriers, 3PLs, and customs brokers.
• Manage expedites and tracking information of key shipments as needed.
• Visit 3PL regularly to review aging parts at 3PL and inbound/outbound activity.
• Monitor freight spend, identify discrepancies, and support cost-saving opportunities.
