Job summary

AXXZIA Cosmetic Malaysia Sdn. Bhd. seeks a Sales & Operations Manager to drive Malaysian market expansion and run local operations.

You will collaborate closely with Japan headquarters, expanding B2B channels and overseeing administrative and compliance tasks for the team. The role requires hands-on cosmetics industry experience, strong sales leadership, and the ability to coordinate across departments and with external partners.

Qualifications

• Experience in cosmetics or beauty industry is required.
• Proven track record in B2B sales or management/administration in cosmetics.
• Ability to negotiate and manage business emails in Chinese or Japanese.
• Team management or assistant manager experience preferred.
• Knowledge of cosmetics import regulations (NPRA) is advantageous.
• Ability to negotiate and communicate in English preferred.

Responsibilities

• Develop sales channels for cosmetics across Malaysia (department stores, drugstores, beauty salons, clinics, wholesalers).
• Identify and onboard agents/distributors; lead contract negotiations and sales.
• Plan sales promotions and participate in trade shows/beauty exhibitions.
• Build relationships with customers and achieve sales targets (key account focus).
• Coordinate with headquarters in Japan (reporting in Chinese or Japanese).
• Manage local office operations, general affairs, and HR for the Malaysian entity.
• Handle procedures with government agencies and cosmetics regulations compliance.
• Oversee bookkeeping and tax with external providers.
