Job summary

NISSIN INTERNATIONAL LOGISTICS (M) SDN. BHD. is seeking a Forwarding Senior Manager to lead our freight forwarding team and drive AI-enabled efficiency across Air, Sea and Land operations.

You will oversee end-to-end processes, ensure 100% customs compliance, and report to Heads of Departments. The role emphasizes strategic planning, performance reporting, and strong team leadership in a dynamic, tech-forward logistics environment.

Qualifications

• 15+ years of experience in forwarding management or equivalent leadership roles.
• Strong IT literacy with AI and automated systems in logistics.
• Excellent English and Bahasa Malaysia communication; able to present to HODs.

Responsibilities

• Lead the forwarding department and oversee end-to-end forwarding operations.
• Champion IT and AI solutions to optimize throughput and reduce bottlenecks.
• Ensure strict customs compliance and timely license renewals.
• Generate performance reports and help shape long-term logistics strategies.
• Build and sustain relationships with shipping lines, airlines, transporters, and international agents.
• Report strategic recommendations and department metrics to HODs and senior management.
• Mentor and develop the forwarding team and drive a culture of continuous improvement.
• Collaborate with internal teams and external partners to align with company goals.
