Qualifications

• Extensive experience in forwarding operations and customs compliance.

• Experience with AI/digital automation in logistics is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Operational Improvement & AI Integration: Champion the adoption of advanced IT and AI solutions—including automated document processing, predictive analytics, and route optimization to refine Air, Sea, and Land freight operations.
• Strategic Planning & Executive Reporting: Formulate data-driven logistics strategies using modern IT tools, build strong relationships with carriers, shipping lines, and international agents, and report performance metrics directly to HODs.
• Task & Compliance Management: Oversee daily forwarding workflows to meet tight KPIs, ensure 100% Malaysian customs compliance, and manage the timely renewal of customs and freight forwarding licenses.
• Team Leadership & Collaboration: Mentor and develop the forwarding team, cultivate a culture of technological adaptation, and align departmental objectives with cross-functional business goals.
