JM Auto Gallery Sdn Bhd seeks a Foreman (Automotive) to oversee the day-to-day operations of the Mitsubishi Motors service department in Butterworth, Penang. In this full-time role, you will ensure high-quality repairs and maintenance, supervise technicians, and coordinate parts and workflow to meet manufacturer standards.

You will lead the team, train staff, communicate with customers about vehicle status, and maintain accurate service records.

Qualifications

• Minimum 5 years of supervisory experience in automotive foreman roles.
• Strong knowledge of Mitsubishi Motors vehicle systems and repair procedures.
• Proven leadership, communication and customer service skills.

Responsabilités

• Supervise and coordinate automotive technicians and mechanics.
• Oversee repair and maintenance of Mitsubishi Motors vehicles, including troubleshooting and diagnosis.

About the role

As the Foreman Mitsubishi Motors (Automotive) at JM Auto Gallery Sdn Bhd, you will play a crucial role in overseeing the day-to-day operations of the automotive repair and maintenance department. This full-time position where you will be responsible for ensuring the efficient and effective delivery of high-quality services to our Mitsubishi Motors customers.

Key Responsibilities

• Supervising and coordinating the work of the automotive technicians and mechanics
• Overseeing the repair and maintenance of Mitsubishi Motors vehicles, including troubleshooting and diagnosing issues
• Ensuring that all work is completed to the highest standards and in compliance with manufacturer specifications
• Monitoring inventory levels and ordering parts and supplies as needed
• Providing training and support to the team to enhance their skills and knowledge
• Liaising with customers to provide updates on the status of their vehicles and address any concerns
• Maintaining accurate records and documentation related to all work performed

Requirements

• Minimum 5 years of experience as an Automotive Foreman or in a similar supervisory role.
• Good knowledge of Mitsubishi Motors vehicle systems, repair procedures, and maintenance standards.
• Strong technical knowledge, troubleshooting, and problem-solving skills.
• Good leadership skills with the ability to supervise and motivate a team.
• Excellent communication and customer service skills.
• Proficient in using automotive diagnostic tools and equipment.
• Able to manage workshop operations and prioritise tasks effectively.
• Able to work independently and as part of a team.
• Certification in Automotive Repair, Mechanical Engineering, or a related field is preferred.
