Job summary

Leong Yin Pastry Sdn Bhd in Malaysia is seeking a Food Technologist / QA Executive to focus on food safety, quality, regulatory compliance and manufacturing.

You will work hands-on with ISO 22000, Halal, MeSTI, GMP/HACCP, supporting certifications, product specifications, labels, and export documents while collaborating with Production, Purchasing and Sales. The role offers exposure to product development, production troubleshooting and continuous quality improvement.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Food Science, Food Technology, or a related field.
• 2–3 years of experience in Food Technology, QA, or related field.
• Knowledge of ISO 22000, MeSTI, Halal, GMP/HACCP.

Responsibilities

• Maintain ISO 22000, MeSTI, Halal, GMP/HACCP and other food safety requirements.
• Coordinate certification renewals, audits and regulatory submissions.
• Prepare product specifications, labels, declarations and technical documents.
• Work closely with Production, Purchasing, Warehouse and Sales teams to support daily operations.
• Support product development, production troubleshooting and quality improvement.
• Handle customer technical requirements and export-related documentation.

We are looking for a Food Technologist / QA Executive who is interested in food safety, quality, regulatory compliance and food manufacturing.

This is a hands-on role where you'll gain exposure to Food Safety Management Systems, Halal, regulatory requirements, product development, production and export activities.

What You'll Do

Maintain and support ISO 22000, MeSTI, Halal, GMP/HACCP and other food safety requirements.
