Job summary

DKSH is seeking an Assistant Manager, Field Sales (FMCG) for Malaysia. You will lead sales teams to meet targets, build relationships with trade partners, and drive revenue growth across assigned territories in the Consumer Goods division.

You will analyse performance, monitor KPIs, forecast demand, and deliver monthly reports while managing trade expenses and campaigns. Strong leadership, English fluency, and a proven sales track record are essential.

Qualifications

• Degree in Business Studies, Marketing, Economics or related field.
• 3–5 years FMCG Field Sales experience, with 2–3 years in a supervisory role.
• Strong knowledge of the industry, market landscape, competitors and customers.
• Proven sales track record in assigned territories and products.
• Strong communication and negotiation skills across internal teams and external partners.
• Proficient in Excel, Word and PowerPoint; fluent in English.

Responsibilities

• Analyse daily sales team performance, identify issues and implement development plans.
• Monitor monthly sales against objectives and KPIs, close performance gaps.
• Provide accurate sales forecasts by product to support planning decisions.
• Submit comprehensive monthly trade reports to line manager and teams.
• Manage and control trade expenses within the allocated budget.
• Collaborate with client reps to implement campaigns and establish distribution priorities.
• Drive team learning and DKSH values to sustain high performance.
