Job summary

DKSH Malaysia is seeking an Assistant Manager, Field Sales to lead and develop the field sales team across assigned products and territories. You will monitor performance, coach staff, forecast demand, and report trade sales results to the line manager, driving revenue growth through strong trade partnerships.

A proactive mindset and collaboration with cross-functional teams are valued. The role requires 3–5 years FMCG field sales experience with supervisory exposure and proficiency in MS

Qualifications

• Minimum 3–5 years of FMCG Field Sales experience with at least 2–3 years in a supervisory capacity.
• Degree or professional qualification in Business Studies, Marketing, Economics, or related discipline.
• Strong communication and negotiation skills with the ability to influence across internal and external partners.
• Proficiency in MS Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint).

Responsibilities

• Lead and monitor field sales teams to achieve targets across assigned territories and products.
• Analyse performance, identify issues, and implement remedial actions and development plans.
• Provide accurate sales forecasts by product and support supply planning.
• Submit monthly trade sales reports, including performance, expenses, and opportunities analysis.
• Manage trade-related expenses within budget and optimize resource use.
• Collaborate with client representatives to implement campaigns and set distribution priorities.
• Provide feedback to Marketing on competitive activity and counter-actions.
