Responsibilities

• Assist in planning and coordinating transportation schedules, ensuring timely delivery of goods.
• Ensure customer's requirements are met and determine the type of transport required.
• Monitor and track shipments, providing regular updates to stakeholders and addressing arising issues.
• Maintain accurate records of transportation activities, including fuel usage, mileage and vehicle maintenance.
• Communicate effectively with customers, suppliers, and internal teams to resolve inquiries.
• Execute haulage and truck standard operating procedures.
• Prepare and file accurate weekly truck reports to Transport Manager, review trips, truck utilization, shipment types, and daily planning.
• Ensure all trucks are in good condition and report maintenance needs to Transport Manager.
