Job summary

KPay Group in Malaysia is seeking a highly motivated Telesales Agent to join our team. You will be on the front lines of our merchant acquisition strategy, handling high-volume outbound calls, prospecting, and pitching our payment terminal solutions to SME prospects.

You will actively secure qualified appointments for the Singapore Business Development team, maintain CRM records, and strive to exceed daily, weekly, and monthly targets while delivering excellent customer experience.

Qualifications

• 1+ years of telesales or outbound sales experience.
• Strong communication and persuasion skills with clear phone presence.
• Resilience and persistence handling objections and rejection.
• Goal-oriented with a drive to meet KPIs and targets.
• Organized and detail-oriented with lead pipelines and follow-ups.
• Basic computer literacy and experience with CRM/lead-tracking tools.
• Ability to work independently and with field sales/marketing teams.
• Fluency in English required; additional languages a plus.

Responsibilities

• Make high-volume outbound calls to merchant prospects.
• Present and articulate the company’s payment solutions clearly and persuasively.
• Identify merchant needs and potential sales opportunities.
• Engage business owners and decision-makers to generate qualified opportunities.
• Secure appointments for the Business Development team and ensure data accuracy in CRM.
• Follow up with warm leads from marketing and inquiries when applicable.
• Collaborate with field sales to improve lead-to-meeting conversion rates.
• Maintain timely records of calls, status, and outcomes.
