Job summary

OneCredit is seeking a proactive Business Development Officer in Malaysia to drive SME client acquisition and build strong client relationships. You will demonstrate the OneCredit platform to decision makers, understand credit risk pain points, and provide consultative solutions that reduce bad debts.

You will work with marketing and product teams to improve market adoption while achieving monthly and quarterly targets in a fast-paced fintech environment.

Qualifications

• 2–5 years of sales or business development experience.
• Experience selling to SMEs or corporate clients.
• Background in financial services, fintech, insurance, banking, or SaaS is an advantage.
• Mandarin fluency is required, including ability to communicate with Mandarin-speaking clients.

Responsibilities

• Identify and acquire new SME clients across Malaysia.
• Present and demonstrate the OneCredit platform to business owners and decision makers.
• Build and maintain strong relationships with clients and ensure satisfaction.
• Understand customer pain points related to credit risk, payment collection, and verification.
• Provide consultative solutions to reduce bad debts and improve risk metrics.
• Achieve monthly and quarterly sales targets.
• Collaborate with marketing and product teams to improve market adoption.
• Provide market feedback and competitive insights.
