KPJ Healthcare Berhad is seeking a Diploma/Degree-qualified accounting assistant to support monthly financial processes, including journal postings, reconciliations, and subledger maintenance. The role requires strong Excel skills and understanding of MFRS, with attention to accuracy and deadlines.

The candidate will assist in PPE schedules, tax computations, and monthly management reports for KPJU and related entities, while coordinating with KPJHQ and finance teams.

Qualifications

• Understanding of basic accounting principles and double-entry bookkeeping.
• Skilled in data entry with high accuracy and attention to details
• Strong knowledge of basic accounting principles and financial reporting processes.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel (formulas, pivot tables, data analysis) and other MS Office applications
• Time management skills to meet strict reporting deadlines

Responsabilités

• Assist monthly journal postings (depreciation, provisions, accruals, salaries, HP interest, MFRS16).
• Assist to prepare monthly salary reconciliation.
• Maintain subledger listing to balance sheet items.
• Maintain PPE schedule and tagging to all assets.
• Assist accrual listing and monthly reconciliation.
• Update and prepare deposits, bank and cash reconciliation and monthly provision.
• Key in daily bank in register for credit/debit card.
• Prepare lease liability table (MFRS16).
• Prepare the monthly cash outflow for all banks.
• Update and maintain daily cash flow with KPJHQ.
• Prepare monthly management reports for KPJU, KPJ Education Services and KPJ Edu (M).
• Prophix Console for KPJU, KPJ Education Services and KPJ Edu (M).
• Prepare monthly income/expenses trend report.
• Perform monthly tax computation and deferred tax.
• Monitor balance sheet items and compile IT checklist from units.
• Submit related reports to KPJHQ (debt report, cash balance, finance cost, cost optimisation).
• Provide data for management meetings.
• Assist with other duties as required.
