Job summary

KPJ Healthcare Berhad is seeking a detail-oriented accounting assistant in Kuala Lumpur to support monthly journal postings, reconciliations, and reporting. The role involves maintaining ledgers, PPE schedules, tax computations, and assisting management with data for meetings.

The ideal candidate holds a Diploma or Degree in Accounting, is proficient in Excel, and demonstrates strong accuracy and time management to meet tight deadlines in a fast-paced environment.

Qualifications

• Understanding of basic accounting and double-entry bookkeeping.
• Data entry with high accuracy and attention to detail.

Responsibilities

• Assist on monthly journal posting (as per listed schedule – depreciation, provision, accrual, salary, HP interest, MFRS16 etc).
• Assist to prepare monthly salary reconciliation.
• Assist in maintenance subledger/listing to balance sheet items.
• To maintain PPE schedule (addition/disposal) and ensure tagging to assets.
• To assist the accrual listing tally with balance sheet and perform monthly reconciliation.
• To update and prepare deposit received, monthly bank and cash reconciliation and monthly provision.
• To key in daily bank in register for credit/debit card.
• Prepare and maintain the lease liability table (MFRS16).
• Prepare the monthly report cash outflow for all bank.
• Update and maintain daily cash flow with KPJHQ.
• Prepare monthly management report for KPJU, KPJ Education Services and KPJ Edu (M).
• Prophix Console for KPJU, KPJ Education Services and KPJ Edu (M).
• To prepare monthly income/expenses trend report.
• To do tax computation and deferred tax every month.
• Assist on monthly monitoring of balance sheet items and to compile IT checklist from respective units.
• Submission on any related reporting to KPJHQ (i.e., debt report, cash bank balance, finance cost, cost optimisation and etc).
• Assist providing data for any management meeting.
• Provide assistance for any duties assigned and as when it requires
