KPJ Healthcare Berhad’s Johor Specialist Hospital seeks an Executive, Finance to join the finance team in Johor Bahru. The role focuses on journal entries in the HITS system, preparation of monthly accounts, and coordination of audit schedules.

You will assist the Finance Manager with monthly management reports, ensure GL accuracy, and support cash management and treasury functions. Strong Excel skills and hospital experience are preferred.

Qualifications

• 3 years of relevant experience or equivalent combination of education and work-related experience.
• 5 years of experience, preferably in hospital/healthcare.
• Strong knowledge of accounting principles and hospital billing processes.
• Proficient in accounting systems and Microsoft Excel.
• Able to handle invoices, payments, and financial records accurately.

Responsabilités

• Make journal entries in the HITS system for monthly accounts.
• Assist Finance Manager in finalising monthly statements (income statement, balance sheet, trial balance).
• Prepare audit schedules for items in financial statements on a monthly basis.
• Ensure accuracy of general ledger balances with sub-ledgers in the system.
• Confirm stocktake counts before submission to Finance Manager for posting.
• Compile monthly reports from other services for the monthly management report.
• Perform cash counts twice daily and reconcile with reports; report discrepancies.
• Prepare monthly financial reports with supporting schedules for Finance Manager review.
• Assist in compiling information from other services for annual budget and tax filings.
