Job summary

Upscale Sdn Bhd invites a diligent finance professional to support daily finance and accounting operations, ensure accurate records, and deliver timely financial reporting.

In this role you will manage AP, AR and GL, prepare monthly statements and analyses, monitor cash flow, assist budget and forecasting, and support month-end close, audits, tax submissions and statutory compliance. You will liaise with auditors, tax agents and bankers as needed and maintain proper records.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree in Finance, Accounting or related discipline.
• 1–3 years of relevant experience in finance or accounting.
• Good understanding of AP, AR, GL, financial reporting and basic accounting principles.
• Proficient in Microsoft Excel and accounting software.

Responsibilities

• Handle daily AP, AR and GL transactions.
• Assist in maintaining full-set accounts and accurate records.
• Prepare monthly financial statements, reports and analyses.
• Perform bank reconciliations, journal entries, accruals and prepayments.
• Assist with month-end and year-end closing and timely reporting.
• Monitor cash flow and assist budgeting, forecasting and variance analyses.
• Prepare schedules for audits, tax submissions and compliance.
