Job summary

Qualifications

• Diploma or Bachelor's Degree in Accounting, Finance or related field.
• 1–3 years of relevant accounting experience.
• Strong understanding of double-entry bookkeeping.
• Proficient in Microsoft Excel.
• Familiarity with AP, AR, bank reconciliation, GL, P&L and Balance Sheet.
• Ability to work independently and manage multiple tasks.

Responsibilities

• Handle daily accounting transactions and maintain accurate accounting records.
• Manage Accounts Payable and Accounts Receivable activities.
• Perform bank reconciliations and ensure transactions are recorded.
• Maintain the General Ledger and supporting schedules.
• Assist in preparing monthly financial reports including Profit & Loss and Balance Sheet.
• Process invoices, payments, receipts and other accounting documents.
• Monitor outstanding receivables and payables.
• Assist with month-end and year-end closing activities.
• Ensure proper filing and maintenance of accounting documents.
• Liaise with internal departments and external parties on accounting-related matters.
• Perform other accounting duties and tasks assigned by management.
