Job summary

Amerix Metal Machining Technology Sdn Bhd is seeking a seasoned Finance Manager to oversee the company’s finance and accounting functions, ensuring accurate, timely and reliable financial information for management decision-making.

You will lead the preparation and review of monthly management accounts, financial statements, cash flow reports and other financial analyses, while coordinating budgeting, forecasting and compliance with statutory requirements.

Responsibilities

• Oversee finance and accounting functions for the company and provide reliable financial information.
• Lead monthly management accounts, financial statements, cash flow and reports.
• Prepare annual budget, forecasts and cash flow projections with variance analysis.
• Coordinate with external auditors, tax agents and regulatory compliance.
• Provide financial analysis and business advice to MD and management.
• Lead finance team and establish clear responsibilities and controls.
• Prepare regular financial and performance reports with KPIs.
• Undertake any other financial, commercial or management duties as assigned.

Oversee and manage the overall finance and accounting functions of Amerix Metal Machining Technology Sdn Bhd, ensuring accurate, timely and reliable financial information for management decision-making.

Lead the preparation and review of monthly management accounts, financial statements, cash flow reports and other financial reports. Provide management with clear analysis of the Company's financial performance, profitability and financial position.

3. Budgeting & Financial Forecasting

Prepare and manage the Company's annual budget, financial forecasts and cash flow projections. Monitor actual performance against budget and provide variance analysis together with recommendations for corrective actions.

4. Audit, Tax & Statutory Compliance

Manage and coordinate with external auditors, tax agents, company secretary, bankers and other professional advisers on audit, taxation, statutory and financial matters.

Ensure the Company complies with applicable accounting standards, tax requirements, Companies Act requirements and other relevant regulatory requirements.

Manage the Company's banking relationships and financial facilities.

Assist management in matters relating to financing, working capital facilities, banking arrangements, interest costs and other financial requirements.

6. Management Advisory & Business Support

Provide financial analysis and commercial advice to the Managing Director and management team to support business decisions.

Evaluate the financial impact of new projects, major purchases, capital expenditure, customer contracts, pricing decisions and other significant business initiatives.

Identify and assess key financial and operational risks affecting the Company and recommend appropriate mitigation measures.

Ensure appropriate controls are in place relating to credit risk, cash management, inventory, purchasing, payments, insurance and other areas of financial exposure.

8. Finance Team Leadership

Lead, manage and develop the finance and accounting team.

Establish clear responsibilities, performance expectations and processes to ensure that the finance function operates efficiently and effectively.

9. Management Reporting & Business Performance

Prepare regular financial and business performance reports for the Managing Director and management team, including:

• Revenue and profitability analysis
• Gross profit and margin analysis
• Production and manufacturing costs
• Cash flow and working capital
• Accounts receivable and collection performance
• Inventory performance
• Budget versus actual performance
• Key financial and operational indicators

Provide meaningful insights and recommendations to improve the Company's overall financial performance.

10. Ad Hoc Responsibilities

Undertake any other financial, commercial or management-related duties as assigned by the Managing Director or Management from time to time.
