Private Advertiser is seeking an experienced Finance Manager to lead the company’s financial operations in Malaysia. The role covers financial reporting, budgeting, cash flow management, tax compliance and statutory requirements.
The candidate will oversee accounting processes, financial analysis and reporting, ensuring accuracy and timely submissions while guiding the finance team and interacting with auditors, banks and management.
We are looking for an experienced Finance Manager to oversee the company’s financial operations in Malaysia. The successful candidate will be responsible for financial reporting, accounting, budgeting, cash flow management, tax compliance, and statutory requirements.
Oversee the day-to-day finance and accounting operations of the company.
Manage monthly, quarterly and annual financial closing and reporting.
Prepare and review financial statements, management reports and financial analysis.
Monitor company cash flow, accounts receivable, accounts payable and working capital.
Prepare annual budgets, forecasts and financial plans.
Monitor financial performance and provide financial insights to management.
Ensure compliance with Malaysian accounting standards, tax regulations and statutory requirements.
Liaise with external auditors, tax agents, banks and other relevant parties.
Manage corporate tax, SST and other applicable tax-related matters.
Ensure timely submission of statutory and financial reports.
Establish and maintain proper financial controls, accounting procedures and documentation.
Review financial transactions and ensure accuracy of accounting records.
Support management in financial planning, cost control and business decision-making.
Supervise and guide the finance/accounting team.
Perform other finance-related duties as assigned by management.
Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting, Finance or a related field.
Minimum 5 years of relevant experience in finance and accounting, with experience at managerial or supervisory level.
Strong knowledge of Malaysian accounting, taxation and statutory requirements.
Experience in financial reporting, budgeting, cash flow management and financial analysis.
Familiar with Malaysian tax matters, audit processes and statutory compliance.
Strong analytical, problem-solving and organizational skills.
Good communication and interpersonal skills.
Proficient in Microsoft Excel and accounting/ERP systems.
Mandarin proficiency is an advantage for communication with China-based management and colleagues.
Candidates with ACCA, CPA, MIA membership or equivalent professional qualifications will be an advantage.
Strong sense of responsibility, integrity and attention to detail.
Able to work independently and manage multiple priorities.
