Amerix Metal Machining Technology Sdn Bhd is seeking an experienced Finance Controller to oversee the company’s finance and accounting functions, delivering accurate financial information to support management decisions.
You will lead monthly management accounts, budgeting, forecasting, cash flow, internal controls, and liaise with auditors and tax agents. The role requires strategic advisory to the MD and leadership of the finance team.
Oversee and manage the overall finance and accounting functions of Amerix Metal Machining Technology Sdn Bhd, ensuring accurate, timely and reliable financial information for management decision-making.
Lead the preparation and review of monthly management accounts, financial statements, cash flow reports and other financial reports. Provide management with clear analysis of the Company's financial performance, profitability and financial position.
Prepare and manage the Company's annual budget, financial forecasts and cash flow projections. Monitor actual performance against budget and provide variance analysis together with recommendations for corrective actions.
Manage and coordinate with external auditors, tax agents, company secretary, bankers and other professional advisers on audit, taxation, statutory and financial matters.
Ensure the Company complies with applicable accounting standards, tax requirements, Companies Act requirements and other relevant regulatory requirements.
Manage the Company's banking relationships and financial facilities.
Assist management in matters relating to financing, working capital facilities, banking arrangements, interest costs and other financial requirements.
Provide financial analysis and commercial advice to the Managing Director and management team to support business decisions.
Evaluate the financial impact of new projects, major purchases, capital expenditure, customer contracts, pricing decisions and other significant business initiatives.
Identify and assess key financial and operational risks affecting the Company and recommend appropriate mitigation measures.
Ensure appropriate controls are in place relating to credit risk, cash management, inventory, purchasing, payments, insurance and other areas of financial exposure.
Lead, manage and develop the finance and accounting team.
Establish clear responsibilities, performance expectations and processes to ensure that the finance function operates efficiently and effectively.
Prepare regular financial and business performance reports for the Managing Director and management team, including:
Provide meaningful insights and recommendations to improve the Company's overall financial performance.
Undertake any other financial, commercial or management-related duties as assigned by the Managing Director or Management from time to time.
