Job summary

Amerix Metal Machining Technology Sdn Bhd is seeking an experienced Finance Controller to oversee the company’s finance and accounting functions, delivering accurate financial information to support management decisions.

You will lead monthly management accounts, budgeting, forecasting, cash flow, internal controls, and liaise with auditors and tax agents. The role requires strategic advisory to the MD and leadership of the finance team.

Responsibilities

• Oversee and manage the overall finance and accounting functions for decision-making
• Lead the preparation and review of monthly management accounts, financial statements, cash flow reports and other financial reports
• Coordinate budgeting, forecasting and variance analysis with corrective actions
• Manage audit, tax, statutory compliance, and liaison with auditors, tax agents and regulators
• Provide financial analysis and commercial advice to management for strategic decisions
• Evaluate financial impact of projects, contracts, pricing and capital expenditure
• Ensure controls around credit risk, cash management, inventory, purchasing and payments
• Lead, develop and motivate the finance team and establish efficient processes
• Prepare regular financial and performance reports including key indicators and variances
• Undertake ad hoc financial, commercial or management duties as assigned by MD
