Job summary

KPJ Selangor Specialist Hospital is seeking an Account Executive to support day-to-day accounting and financial operations. The role covers month-end closing, general ledger, reconciliations, fixed assets, and financial reporting, with involvement in budgeting, audits, and tax compliance.

The candidate will assist in preparing monthly management accounts, journal entries, variance analysis, and statutory financial statements.

Qualifications

Minimum 1–3 years of relevant working experience in accounting or finance.
Experience in month-end closing, General Ledger (GL), payment processing, bank reconciliation and account reconciliation is an added advantage.
Basic understanding of Malaysian taxation.
Proficient in Microsoft Excel, PowerPoint and Word.
Experience with accounting or ERP systems would be an added advantage.

Responsibilities

Assist in day-to-day accounting and financial operations.
Assist in monthly management accounts preparation and month-end close.
Prepare journal entries, accruals, prepayments and other adjustments with supporting documentation.
Perform GL review and balance sheet reconciliations; investigate outstanding items.
Support AP/AR functions and vendor/customer reconciliations as needed.
Perform bank reconciliations and assist with internal/external audits.
Assist with year-end closing and statutory financial statements preparation.
Support budgeting, forecasting and financial analysis.
