Job summary

Conod Medical (Malaysia) Sdn. Bhd. is seeking a Finance Manager to lead daily finance and accounting activities, oversee monthly closings, and manage product costing for a growing medical manufacturing operation in Malaysia.

You will coordinate with Sales, Production, and Management, ensuring accurate financial reporting, cost control, and regulatory compliance. Strong ERP experience and manufacturing costing background are required.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree or above in Accounting, Finance, Banking, or Business Administration.
• Minimum 5 years of relevant finance and accounting experience, preferably in manufacturing.
• Experience in manufacturing costing, product costing, quotation and cost analysis.
• Good knowledge of Malaysian accounting, taxation and statutory reporting requirements.
• Experience in PS, LMW, inventory and manufacturing-related financial accounting is an advantage.

Responsibilities

• Finance & Accounting Management: manage daily finance and accounting activities and oversee monthly closing.
• Product Costing & Quotation: handle costing databases, BOM-based cost analysis, and pricing recommendations.
• Inventory & Manufacturing Cost Accounting: oversee raw materials, WIP, and finished goods costing and inventory reconciliation.
• Audit & Tax Coordination: coordinate with external auditors and tax authorities, prepare required financial documents.
• Financial Analysis & Management Reporting: produce monthly analyses, budgets vs. actuals, and ad-hoc reports.
• Team Management & Cross-functional Coordination: lead the Finance team and liaise with Purchasing, Production, Warehouse, Sales and Management.
