Job summary

The Finance Executive (Costing) position is with a Japanese-owned manufacturing company based in Johor, Malaysia. The role involves managing full accounting cycles, cost analysis, and financial reporting to support strategic cost optimization and regulatory compliance.

Responsibilities include maintaining ledgers, cash flow monitoring, coordinating with suppliers and internal teams, and ensuring timely and accurate financial records for internal management and external stakeholders.

Qualifications

• Degree in Finance, Accounting, or related field.
• 2–3 years of relevant experience in finance, accounting, or financial analysis, preferably in manufacturing.
• Proficient in accounting software and Microsoft Excel.

Responsibilities

• Handle full set of accounts and daily accounting operations.
• Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reports for internal management and external stakeholders.
• Maintain and reconcile general ledgers; oversee accounts payable/receivable with proper documentation and timely payments.
• Monitor cash flow and provide recommendations to optimize cash resources.
• Analyze production costs, identify cost-reduction opportunities, and assist in improving financial performance.
• Liaise with suppliers, customers, and other departments to align financial records with company goals.
