Private Advertiser in Malaysia is seeking an experienced Finance Manager to oversee all finance, accounting, and reporting activities for a manufacturing operation. The role ensures accuracy, compliance, cost management, and timely reporting to support business objectives.

You will lead the finance team, manage month-end closings, budgets, and cash flow, and work with cross-functional colleagues to drive process improvements while maintaining strong internal controls.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field.
• ACCA/CPA/CIMA/ICAEW or equivalent qualification.
• Minimum 10 years in finance, accounting, audit, and reporting, with at least 3 years in a managerial role.
• Manufacturing experience preferred.
• Strong knowledge of financial reporting, budgeting, forecasting, costing, and internal controls.
• Excellent communication and stakeholder management.

Responsibilities

The role will be responsible for ensuring financial accuracy, regulatory compliance, effective cost management, and timely reporting while supporting business and operational objectives.

Key responsibilities

Lead and manage the finance team, ensuring smooth execution of daily finance and accounting activities.

Oversee month-end closing, financial reporting, and group reporting requirements.

Prepare and review financial statements in compliance with applicable accounting standards and statutory regulations.

Monitor financial performance, analyze variances, and provide insights to support decision-making.

Review costing information and manufacturing-related financial data to ensure accuracy and efficiency.

Prepare annual budgets, periodic forecasts, and cash flow projections.

About you

Bachelor's Degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.

Professional qualification such as ACCA, CPA, CIMA, ICAEW, or equivalent.

Minimum 10 years of relevant experience in finance, accounting, audit, and reporting, including at least 3 years in a managerial capacity.

Experience in a manufacturing environment is preferred.

Strong knowledge of financial reporting, budgeting, forecasting, costing, and internal controls.

Good analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making skills.

Able to work independently in a fast-paced environment and manage multiple priorities.

Strong communication and stakeholder management abilities.

Proficient in English and Bahasa Malaysia. Mandarin proficiency will be an added advantage.
