Job summary

PGH Group Malaysia seeks an experienced finance professional to join our team as Finance Manager. You will prepare full set accounts, lead budgeting, and deliver monthly financial and management reports, while overseeing month-end close and cash flow management.

You will liaise with auditors, tax agents, and banks, ensuring compliance with local regulations and internal SOPs. A strong ACCA/CPA/CIMA/MIA background is required with 5–7 years of relevant experience.

Qualifications

• ACCA/CPA/CIMA/MIA or related professional qualification.
• 5–7 years of working experience in finance and accounting.
• Experience in budgeting, financial reporting, and management reporting.
• Familiar with Malaysian tax regulations and e-Invoice requirements.
• Candidates with audit experience will have an added advantage.
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, and leadership skills.
• Proficient in Microsoft Excel and accounting software.
• Experience in AutoCount, SQL, or ERP systems is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Prepare full set accounts and monthly financial reports.
• Prepare financial analysis and management reports.
• Handle month-end and year-end closing activities.
• Monitor accounts receivable aging, cash flow, and budget performance.
• Review trial balance, accounting entries, and reconciliation processes.
• Manage AP, AR, GL, bank reconciliation, and intercompany transactions.
• Ensure compliance with accounting standards and company policies.
• Liaise with auditors, tax agents, bankers, and company secretaries.
• Perform tax planning activities.
• Monitor inventory reconciliation and ensure accuracy of financial data.
• Assist in improving financial processes and SOPs.
• Supervise and guide junior finance team members.
