Job summary

Jora Malaysia is seeking a Finance Accountant to join Group Finance. You will prepare monthly management reports, review financial statements, and manage SST compliance among other duties.

Candidate should hold Bachelor's in Accounting/Finance, strong IFRS/MFRS knowledge, and experience with costing and pricing. You will liaise with auditors, tax agents, and HODs to support budgets and strategic plans.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's in Accounting, Finance, or related field.
• Strong knowledge of IFRS/MFRS standards to prepare and review management reports and financial statements.
• Experience in production costing and pricing strategies
• Familiarity with Malaysian Sales and Service Tax (SST) regulations and submission processes.
• Knowledge of internal controls, risk reporting, and liaising with auditors and tax agents.

Responsibilities

• Prepare monthly management reports and provide timely financial information to Group Finance.
• Review financial statements and present during monthly business review.
• Review production costing and prepare customer quotations.
• Review the submission of Sales and Service Tax (SST) returns.
• Perform stock reconciliations and variance analysis.
• Prepare risk management and financial reports for Group Finance.
• Liaise with Heads of Departments (HODs) and prepare the budget andbusiness plans.
• Liaise with external auditors, internal auditors, tax agents, companysecretaries for various requirements.
• Manage ad-hoc finance projects as required.
