This role focuses on ensuring seamless alignment between local statutory books and group financial reporting, managing audit cycles, and driving regional SEA finance initiatives.

Key Responsibilities:

• Oversee the timely and accurate preparation of monthly management accounts, ensuring seamless alignment between local statutory books and group financial reporting.
• Manage all local statutory reporting, tax filings, and regulatory compliance requirements within Malaysia.
• Serve as the primary point of contact for external auditors, tax agents, and corporate secretarial advisors to ensure smooth, compliant audit cycles.
• Maintain and strengthen internal financial controls and accounting processes to ensure adherence to group policies and reporting standards.
• Collaborate on regional finance projects across Southeast Asia (SEA), driving specialized operational support for the Acumen channel.
• Identify and implement continuous improvements to streamline reporting workflows, shorten closing timelines, and enhance overall data quality.
• Lead, coach, and scale the local finance team while actively balancing hands-on operational delivery with high-level supervisory duties and ad-hoc management requests.

Key Requirements:

• Bachelor's Degree in Accountancy, Finance, or equivalent professional qualification.
• 3-4 years in public audit, coupled with 2-4 years in a commercial finance role.
• Exceptional grounding in technical accounting standards, financial controls, and multi-entity group reporting.
