Job summary

Gobi Partners, on behalf of one of its portfolio companies, seeks an experienced Finance Manager to lead financial reporting, month-end close, statutory compliance, and audit management across regional entities for a rapidly growing digital business.

The role focuses on building a robust financial control framework, multi-entity consolidation, intercompany accounting, and driving system automation while mentoring the regional finance team.

Qualifications

• 6–10 years of progressive accounting experience, including a Finance Manager role, ideally within technology, SaaS, mobile app, or digital platform sectors.
• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or Finance; CPA, CA, ACCA, or equivalent qualification preferred.
• Strong practical knowledge of Singapore accounting standards alongside hands-on experience with Indonesia and Malaysia statutory compliance, intercompany accounting, and multi-entity group consolidation.
• Proven background in managing end-to-end month-end close processes and leading multi-jurisdictional external audits.
• Advanced skills in Xero accounting software, complex Excel modeling, analytical problem-solving, and familiarity with BI/reporting tools.
• Exceptional communication, stakeholder management, and team leadership abilities.

Responsibilities

• Lead monthly, quarterly, and annual close processes across multiple legal entities, ensuring full compliance with Singapore, Indonesia, and Malaysia accounting standards, journal reviews, and schedule accuracy.
• Direct accounting and statutory compliance across Singapore, Indonesia, and Malaysia; coordinate with external accountants, tax advisors, and company secretaries to execute timely filings for financial statements, tax, and GST/VAT.
• Manage intercompany billing, reconciliations, settlements, and period-end eliminations across entities while supporting transfer pricing documentation.
• Drive annual external audit processes for all legal entities, preparing schedules, resolving audit queries, and implementing post-audit control improvements.
• Identify opportunities to optimize month-end close efficiency, strengthen internal controls, and initiate finance system enhancements and cross-functional workflow automation.
• Mentor, coach, and review the work of finance staff to foster accountability, build operational rigor, and support professional development.

As part of the evolution of one of our key portfolio companies, we are seeking an experienced Finance Manager to lead the financial reporting and compliance function across our regional operations. This role is tasked with ensuring accurate financial reporting, timely month-end close, statutory compliance, audit management, and maintaining strong financial controls across multiple legal entities while supporting a rapidly growing digital business.

The Role

We are strengthening our regional finance operations with the mandate to build a robust financial control framework and scale reporting workflows across jurisdictions. You will lead multi-entity close processes, manage regional statutory compliance, oversee intercompany accounting, and drive system automation. You will own the financial reporting playbook while mentoring a growing finance team across our regional footprint.
