Job summary

NOVA BUILDINGS GROUP is seeking a dynamic Finance Manager to oversee day-to-day finance operations across our regional entities in ASEAN. Based in Malaysia, you will partner with the Head of Finance to drive financial reporting, treasury management, foreign exchange oversight, and our finance transformation roadmap.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or Finance required; professional qualification preferred.
• 5–8 years of managerial experience, preferably in manufacturing or construction.
• Regional SEA experience preferred; willing to travel occasionally.
• Strong background in finance operations, analytics and ERP systems (SAP advantageous).
• Expertise in treasury, FX, and financial reporting; advanced Excel and data visualization skills.

Job description

We are seeking a dynamic Finance Manager to oversee day-to-day finance operations across our regional entities in Singapore, Indonesia, Malaysia, Thailand, and the Philippines. This role serves as a strategic partner to the Head of Finance, driving financial reporting, treasury management, foreign exchange oversight, and the execution of our finance transformation roadmap. This role will be based in Malaysia.

Key responsibilities

Manage end to end accounting, month end closing, and group consolidation in compliance with IFRS and local standards.

Monitor regulatory changes and implement necessary adjustments.

Lead group treasury, banking, audit, and tax matters.

Optimize liquidity and fund allocation to meet operational and strategic needs.

Oversee foreign exchange management across ASEAN to mitigate risks and ensure cost effective practices.

Drive operational efficiencies, cost saving measures, and process automation.

Strengthen financial controls, policies, and governance frameworks.

Support company wide compliance across ASEAN entities.

Mentor and develop regional finance teams.

Collaborate cross functionally to align financial strategies with business objectives.

Requirements

Bachelor's Degree in Accounting / Finance; professional qualification (CA, CPA, ACCA) preferred.

Minimum 5 to 8 years of managerial experience, ideally in manufacturing or construction industries.

Regional experience across Southeast Asia is preferred, and candidates must be willing to travel occasionally.

Strong background in finance operations, analysis, and ERP systems (SAP advantageous).

Expertise in treasury, foreign exchange, and financial reporting.

Proficiency in ERP systems (SAP preferred), advanced Excel, and data visualization tools.
